Single Pass Honing Tools for Blind Bore
Our Single Pass Honing Tools for Blind Bore are specially made to give your parts a perfect size and smooth finish. These tools use abrasive sleeves (rough materials) that are placed on a round surface and fitted onto mandrels (tool holders). As the tool moves through the bore, it removes a small amount of material to make the bore accurate in size, shape, and surface finish.
These tools are great for blind bores (holes that don’t go all the way through), and to get the best result, an undercut (small groove) at the bottom of the bore is needed.
